So a lot has happened in 2021..sorry for the delay in posting but this is blog not a newspaper...LOL

So I wanted to give my niece a unique gift. so after trolling around the internet and Pinterest.. I bought some light clips.

I didn't take pics of each step. But lets walk thru the steps I took to achieve this look.

So, I first picked out 4 limbs of cedar all from our ranch, but take a drive and find the wood that you want to use. This works with all types.

I then used 80 and then 220 sandpaper to remove the outer bark and as well to leave some. So the wood was left with multiple different colors. I used two limbs and left the branching off-like a Y shape on two of the sides.

After all have been sanded, sealed and dried. I had placed in the shape that would fit the light strings. So the Clips/lights I got off Amazon. They have 8 different settings, with a remote. all for about 11$.

As you can see from the picture; I attached the four corners together, first with screw, then rope. This is where its great to use what you want to use. Just make sure it is strong as this hold the four corners together

.The lights are wrapped around and then in line going up. At the end placed a wire around the last clip to secure. Used rope on sides to prevent slipping of the light rope. Used grass rope, braded into a holder for hanging on the wall.

Added photos turned on the lights; which are within the clips. And a picture within a picture.

Again thanks for look and reviewing my Blog. If you have questions always willing to answer.
